What are ALCs and ADCs?

Application Load and Delete Certificates (ALCs & ADCs) are used to prevent unauthorised creation or deletion of applications. An ALC is loaded with an application to authorise the load. ALCs and ADCs must be signed by the MULTOS CA to be valid. They are supplied by the CA on a request from the card issuer (or their delegate).
